Our love for history and old buildings gave us the desire to save an old barn built in 1888 from Williamston and move it to our property.  We began disassembly in 2015.  All beams were carefully labeled to fit back together like a giant puzzle.  The following year, we obtained a second barn before it fell.  With wood from both barns, we dug a basement, and began the reassembly  and construction process the summer of 2018.   ​We are thankful to the many hours Ben's dad, brothers, and friends came to help in the project!  It's been kind of like a dream come true watching this old barn go up.
